As you get older, de-training gets quicker. Where you will get away with skipping 2 or 3 weeks when you're in your 20s, when you're 50, after 2 or 3 weeks it's like starting over again. I'm assuming you're young, so most likely the problem was either a hydration issue, diet, or possibly some minor illness. Some days are just like that. Depends on your age. I don't see how a gym could force any employee to wear makeup. And yes, it is bad for your skin to workout while wearing makeup on your face.
