How can I get back into fitness?

I was in a bad car accident 8 months ago and I am trying to get back into fitness but im having a hard time. I broke my neck in 2 spots, broke my collar bone, and 3 ribs. When I try to jog or workout I get really bad sharp pains. I’ve tried calling my doctor but he wont return any of my calls. Can someone tell me how I can ease back into exercising??? Should I go back to my physical therapist for advice?

I need to increase my fitness and stamina for a tennis league that I’ve joined, but I’m already a little underweight. Any tips on what to do in the gym to build stamina and not lose weight?

I’m currently taking weight gain shakes and going to the gym twice a week (doing nothing but weighlifting – no cardio) to build muscle mass, and I’d like to incorporate a stamina workout in there too.
